Karen Van Kooy is a Collaborative Law attorney and mediator, representing women and men in all stages of family law transitions, including pre-nuptial agreements, family formation, second parent adoptions, divorce, custody, child support and post-divorce matters. Karen also assists families in estate planning and probate matters. Central to Karen’s approach in domestic relations matter is to attend to the immediate needs of a client, whose life may be in serious upheaval, while assisting the client in defining the big picture: life after the transition.
