Karen J. Levitt is retired after many years of active practice as a lawyer, collaborative practitioner, and mediator. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. cum laude in history, and holds a law degree from Boston University School of Law. Attorney Levitt served on the Board of Directors of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, including chairing their Access to Collaboration Task Force. Attorney Levitt is a founding member and past president of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council. She is also a former board member of the Massachusetts Council of Family Mediation. Attorney Levitt has taught at Boston University School of Law, and has been active as a speaker, trainer, and writer in the areas of family law, collaborative practice and mediation.
