More about this MCLC member:

I am a founding partner of Babau & Baron, LLP, a boutique, client-service driven law firm, dedicating its practice to Collaborative Divorce, Divorce Mediation, Estate Planning, Special Needs Trusts, and Social Security Disability. What makes us different is our approach. We are driven by and focused on what matters to you, our client. We are counselors, advocates, and partners in your journey. We will take the time to listen, educate, and guide you as you navigate the process and move toward outcomes that support your current needs, your future needs and protection, and your peace of mind.

I understand that going through a divorce is a confusing and often frustrating legal process filled with high emotion and complex underlying issues. My top priority is helping my clients through this difficult process by providing them with calm, clear, compassionate, and personalized guidance and representation. It is my strong belief that at this particular phase of your life, you deserve an Attorney that you can rely on and communicate with on a regular basis. With us, you will always be seen, heard, supported, and equipped to make well-informed decisions.

Additionally, going through a divorce when you have a child with special needs presents its own set of significant and unique challenges. Ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of your child’s care, protection, and well-being during their lifetime and upon your death or incapacity, as two separate households, is complex and emotionally exhausting. With specialized planning knowledge and compassionate support, I will ensure that your child is protected as you move into the next chapter of your lives. Through calm, clear, compassionate, and personalized guidance and representation, you will always be seen, heard, supported, and equipped to make well-informed decisions. It is my strong belief that the divorce process should not be overwhelming, especially when dealing with unique challenges. I am here to help you navigate the difficult, confusing, and often frustrating process of Estate Planning/Special Needs Trusts, so your child is secure and protected and your family is at peace while adjusting and thriving in its new norm.

I am admitted to practice and an active member in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, State of New Hampshire, State of Connecticut, U.S. District Court – District of Massachusetts, and U.S. District Court – District of New Hampshire.

In addition to a JD, I hold a BS in Human Development and an MPA in Nonprofit Management. I am a Certified Divorce Mediator and I hold a Certificate in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Harvard Law School.
