Profession(s): Divorce Coach, Family Law Coach/Facilitator, Mental Health Professional
Description of Services:

I work with both clients to establish their goals for the Collaborative divorce. We also discuss the topics (triggers) they might find the most difficult during full team meetings. I am available to each client for support individually as needed. I also work with the couple outside of the full team meetings to establish a parenting schedule to share with the team. I consistently work on helping clients communicate and to have the skills and support needed to co-parent effectively.

More about this MCLC member:

I received my master’s degree as a School Psychologist from Tufts University in 1975. For 35 years I worked in both the public and private settings doing assessment and counseling for children aged preschool-college. In those settings I focused on the developmental needs of the children as well as the communication skills necessary to help parents, teachers, and other service providers. I consider these to be most important personal and professional strengths. At the same time, I was raising three daughters, all of whom followed in my professional footsteps. In 2012 I joined the MCLC to begin my practice as a divorce coach/facilitator. The transition was smooth as I was able to use my skills to help couples navigate the challenges of divorce. I work with clients in very long-term marriages, and those with no children, but I am especially suited to helping parents develop a parenting schedule which works for their family and the developmental needs of their children. Co-parenting is a daunting task and my work is to help make it successful.
