The use of the collaborative method to resolve differences is a valuable tool for the attorney and the client. Finding solutions, rather than focusing on differences, allows the client more freedom to seek avenues of resolution that may not be available through litigation. The collaborative process also provides the clients with the ability to control their own destiny, and their family’s, by maintaining control over the outcome, rather than ceding the decision to a stranger in a black robe who has hundreds of other cases to deal with.I enjoy working with my clients and other collaborative professionals in a joint effort to reach a conclusion that preserves the dignity and the interests of all involved.
