Miriam Bourke, Devlin Farmer, Oran Kaufman, and Lisa Kent will continue the conversation about the Family Resolution Specialty Court (FRSC) program started at the Annual Meeting in March. During this panel discussion, panelists will focus on how each practitioner became involved in FRSC, how they leverage their Collaborative/dispute resolution skills to be an effective FRSC practitioner, and what we can learn from the FRSC model to enhance our own Collaborative Process.
Gabrielle Clemens, Jennifer Hatch, and Rebecca Neale will present on using the Collaborative Process to recognize and address financial abuse in intimate partner relationships.
Lauren Desforge and Kim Whelan will provide an update on the intersection of child support and alimony in the Collaborative Process.
Woody Mosten and Michael Lang will introduce participants to Reflective Practice in this interactive workshop. The workshop will include an introductory presentation so that participants gain an understanding of reflective practice, the importance of learning through experience, and the value of group discussions to address practice dilemmas. During the second part of the workshop, Woody and Michael will run two reflective practice/case consultation groups with the opportunity for attendees to sit in as participants in the session while other participants observe and debrief each session. The workshop will conclude with time for questions and answers.
