I am a lawyer in Wellesley, Massachusetts who strives to provide clients with large firm quality and responsiveness in a small firm setting. My practice has three main areas of focus: business law, alternative dispute resolution and family law. I have a particular interest in business partner disputes and the intersection of family and business issues, like family businesses in divorce. I also assist clients with collaborative law divorce, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. My litigation practice is limited to a strategic or litigation management mode. I do not make court appearances.
Prior to joining my current firm, I worked as a sole practitioner in Wellesley. Before then, I worked for a small firm in Beverly, Massachusetts and major international law firms in New York and Seattle.
I hold a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. I am active in a number of professional organizations including the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, where I am past president and a member of the board of directors, and the American Bar Association, where I am immediate past Co-Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section’s Collaborative Law Committee.
I have been recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer and by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for “Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution” in 2020.
