Ethics: Maintaining Our Collaborative Compasses
Ethical issues come up all the time in Collaborative Law – from start to finish! Ethics is about how to do the right thing, personally and professionally. Balancing our responsibilities can lead us through some of the most difficult concepts that we deal with in our practices. Come hear Attorney Jeffrey Fink, Attorney Karen J. Levitt, Coach/Facilitator Linda Cohan, and Financial Professional and CPA Lauren Desforge present on ethical issues that we encounter in our cases. It’s not just about informed consent! This interactive presentation will help us all to think more about our professional and personal compasses as well as how we address specific ethical issues at the outset and during the course of a case. Having an awareness of what some of our challenges may be, and deciding how to deal with them individually and as a team, is critical to maintaining the integrity of Collaborative Law.
