About Me:

I established my own law firm in 1993, after five years in-house at Bolt Beranek and Newman Inc. I help couples and families resolve disputes, and I formerly assisted businesses with technology-related legal matters. My experience in the business world gives me a broad perspective that couples and families appreciate and find beneficial. In addition to having collaborative law training through MCLC, I have been providing mediation services since 1995, with advanced training in divorce and family mediation. I have taught Legal Studies at Brandeis University and writing at Tufts University and other universities. My practice is dedicated exclusively to divorce and other family law matters.Harvard Law School, J.D. University of Michigan, M.A. University of Rochester, B.A. Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, 1982 As lawyer and as mediator, I emphasize dispute resolution, not dispute escalation. I assist clients in reaching agreements that are practical, forward-looking and client-directed. I am committed to the careful and precise drafting of agreements. I have a special interest in divorce issues and parent-child issues, including the structuring of parenting plans that work.
