*David A. Hoffman is a Collaborative Law attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and the founding member of Boston Law Collaborative, LLC. David was one of the founding members of MCLC in 1999 and served on our Board for many years. David teaches courses on Mediation and Collaborative Law at Harvard Law School, where he is the John H. Watson Jr. Lecturer on Law. David is past chair of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution and co-chair of the Section's Collaborative Law Committee. He has also served on the Ethics Task Force of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. David has received a number of awards for his dispute resolution work, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and the D’Alemberte-Raven Award from the American Bar Association’s Section of Dispute Resolution. David has published three books and numerous articles on law and dispute resolution. David has three adult children and an adolescent cat.
