MCLC Introductory Collaborative Practice Training Workshop for New Trainees and MCLC Members

How to Talk to a Prospective Client About Collaborative Practice:

Increasing Comfort, Competence and Confidence

Understanding how to effectively communicate and describe collaborative practice is essential for increasing collaborative cases. The focus of this workshop is to develop skills to talk about collaborative law, regardless of your profession.

We will highlight such things as

(1) How to connect with a client as we give and gather information

(2) How to segue from discussing various process options into the benefits of

collaborative law, the value of the Team and the disqualification agreement

(3) How to respond to challenging questions. Participants will have the

opportunity to practice an initial client interview.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to cultivate your newly-minted skills

and, develop relationships with other newly-trained practitioners!
