I’ve Got a Secret: The Impact of Privilege, Transparency and Confidentiality on the Collaborative Team

Karen J. Levitt, Esq. and Gina Arons, Psy.D. will present I’ve Got a Secret: The Impact of Privilege, Transparency and Confidentiality on the Collaborative Team. Collaborative Practice is based on the idea that clients and professionals work together in an open and honest manner to reach resolution- but there are complexities in a process in which the attorney client privilege guarantees confidentiality while all of the other collaborative professional-client relationships require transparency. Gina and Karen will provide participants with a roadmap to identify and explore issues related to secrets as they affect clients, professional ethics, and the Collaborative Process, by examining what to do when a client says, “I’ve Got a Secret.”
